Product Description

This part includes one kerf plate for a miter saw. Your miter saw has two kerf plates on each side of the blade, however they are sold separately. Kerf plates are designed to limit excessive splintering, resulting in better, smoother cuts. The kerf plate can crack or break if there is a kickback. It can also get cut if kept very close to the blade. Replacing the kerf plate is a simple repair that anyone can do. For this replacement, start by ensuring your miter saw is disconnected from power. Remove all three screws from the kerf plate and pull it away from the base. Slide the new kerf plate underneath the fence and line it up to secure the screws. Please note, the screws are sold separately.
