Product Description

This coil type brush spring is a genuine DeWalt replacement part. This part is sold individually. As the carbon brush gradually wears away, the brush spring decompresses to keep the brush pressed against the armature in spite of the continual erosion of the brush. This ensures lasting tool performance, helping to prevent low motor power, reduced electric braking, and intermittent motor function. While brush springs aren't prone to failure, their small size makes them easy to lose while doing motor maintenance.
