Product Description

The anti-splintering device is attached to your jigsaw base near the blade. It is purposely made out of a clear plastic, to enable you to see through it to correctly follow your cut line. The purpose of this part is to limit splintering and chip-out on cuts. It also stops thin pieces of wood from jamming between the blade and the plate while cutting. This is a very easy and quick repair that does not require any tools. Remove the old one by hand and align the new one and snap it into place. This authentic part is sold independently.
