- Fix Number:
- FIX10122103
- Manufacturer #:
- 22-16-0035
- Manufactured by:
- Milwaukee
- Product Description
- This is an OEM part sourced directly from Milwaukee. Carbon brushes are used in the chop saw to transfer electricity from outside the motor to the spinning armature in the motor. This is how the motor gets power. Due to the friction they endure these brushes will wear down over time, this is why they are one of the most common parts you will need to replace in your chop saw. If your brushes have worn down you will notice the motor is no longer running efficiently, you might experience intermittent motor function, motor might have reduced power, or there could be a reduction in electric breaking. This carbon brush comes with wire lead and brush spring attached, and it is sold individually. When you are replacing a carbon brush be sure to inspect the armature, if there are burns, cracks, or other signs of damage this might indicate a bigger problem with the motor.
