This is an OEM safety pad, also known as a probe pad or nose cushion. It attaches to the end of the safety to stop your work piece from getting damaged by the safety arm. It is sold individually, however, we recommend having a few of these on hand as they tend to weaken over time. No tools are necessary, it simply pops into place by hand.
