This air filter is a commonly used item on Homelite chainsaws. It is designed to filter our dust and debris from the air. It is advised to periodically check air filters, because, over time they will get dirty no longer being able to supply clean air to the engine. This may cause poor performance and may develop further problems with an engine. At this point filter should definitely be replaced. Includes one (1) foam filter per order. Replacing this air filter is easy task and would only require a torx screwdriver. • First remove screws from cover/housing • Remove remove cover and replace old filter • Reassemble and test the chainsaw
