This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement carburetor assembly which is commonly installed on the handheld lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of this part is to mix the air and the gas before the mix goes to the engine. If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This is a high-quality metal body carburetor and is sold individually, keep in mind the assembly also includes the fuel hose and a gasket.
