This is the base drip tray assembly (the adjustable cup height drip tray is sold separately). This drip tray is located on the base of the coffee maker. This is the surface that the coffee cup will sit on and will help to maintain any coffee spillage. It is made up of black plastic and a silver metal surface with holes to allow the coffee to drip into the dish. If the plastic has cracked or the dish is tarnished, this OEM replacement tray is what you will need to get it fixed.
