This is an OEM part sourced directly from Walbro. The fuel inlet screen is another line of defense for your carburetor, it helps eliminate the dirt and debris travelling through you engine. It is important to keep those large particles out of your fuel line and out of the fuel that travels through the carburetor; you want to keep your engine running smooth for years to come.
