The recoil starter assembly allows small engines to start smoothly by engaging the flywheel when the pull cord is pulled. When the starter housing, rope, or internal spring wears out, the engine may become difficult or impossible to start. A ready-to-install replacement designed for select trimmers and small engines restores dependable manual starting and gets the equipment running again with minimal effort.
