Product Description

This is a genuine OEM sourced part which is designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. It provides an identical replacement for a damaged or a missing component that was on a new unit. By pressing on the purge bulb, it will force fuel into the fuel line from the fuel tank into the carburetor. Once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank in the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. It is made of high-quality rubber material and is sold individually. Keep in mind the #696824 Nut (Carburetor Primer) that helps to secure it is sold separately. Replacing the primer is a simple task, simply remove the old one and connect the new one to the hose.
