Product Description

This is an OEM replacement part designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines. The purpose of a carburetor is to supply a combustible mixture of fuel and air to the engine. It also helps to control engines speed. This assembly includes a metal body carburetor and a composite material gasket. Please note if the engine starts and quickly dies you may want to test the carburetor. You can do so by removing air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope and if the engine starts and then quickly dies, carburetor is likely the problem. To complete this repair you would need a wrench. ? Remove cover ? Disconnect fuel lines ? Remove old carburetor and install the new one ? Re-assemble and test the engine
