Product Description

This is a genuine Briggs and Stratton part for use with Lawn and Garden Equipment engines and Generators. The governor spring applies tension to the throttle to control engine speed. The most common reason for replacing the governor spring is when it is broken or worn, causing the engine to not run at a constant speed. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the governor spring is snap ring pliers.
