What is the resistance measurement from the secondary (Plug Lead) to ground and the resistance measurement from the control terminal (kill terminal) to ground?
I have readings of 4.5K ohms on the secondary and only 0.5 ohms on the control terminal with the kill switch disconnected.
I am assuming the primary winding is shorted to ground causing the no spark condition.
Am I correct?

Hello Dennis, thank you for your question! A reading of 2.5-5.0 K ohms indicate that it is in working order. No reading indicates a broken circuit. As reading gets higher, the spark will weaken until it is no longer present. We would recommend checking the spark plug, part number FIX9074700. We hope this sorts out your problem!
