This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced replacement carbon brush which is used on Fein rotary drills. Carbon brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool components, they are used to conduct the electric current by maintaining physical contact with an armature. Over time brushes will begin to wear down eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. It is a high-quality item which is made of durable carbon material with an attached lead wire with a spring and it is sold individually, please note it is advised to replace both carbon brushes at the same time.
