Product Description

If your dryer is no longer heating up, there may be an issue with the heater element. You are able to test this part with a multimeter to determine if it has failed. If you need to replace the heater element, this is a genuine OEM part. The element has a coiled wire made of a nickel and chrome alloy. The wire heats up due to resisting an electric current, and the heat it produces is then used to dry your laundry. Before beginning this repair, be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer, and ensure you have room to access the back panel of the dryer. You will need to disassemble much of your dryer, including removing the drum, in order to access the heater element. The heater housing is found on the bottom right-hand side of your dryer.

No heat from dryer
Unplugged dryer , disconnect dryer hose, pull dryer out take off back panel , pull the heating transfer tube off the housing of the heating element take screws from element bracket and remove inspect the element for damage, coils will be split or falling apart take new element and put back in place of old one, reattache to bracket put heat transfer tube back on, I suggest while your in there replace heat sensor and thermostat by doing so you won't have to worry about anything going wrong with the dryer for quite some time,
