Hi, I have a whirlpool wed7300dw0. I get en e1 f3 error which indicates the thermistor. I replace the the thermistor, thermal fuse, checked the resistance of the thermistor and the continuity of the wiring harness. All venting is clear. I also ran the diagnostic checks on the acu listed in the service manual inside the dryer. I still get an e1 f3 error. Is it logical the control board is the issue here?

Thank you for your question. Try resetting the dryer. Turn the circuit breaker off for one minute. When you turn it back on, start a time dry cycle and monitor the dryer for one minute to see if the code reappears. If it does, and you have already checked the thermistor and the wiring and cleaned the vent, you will need to replace the electronic control board. To test if the vent is clear, disconnect the dryer from the vent and run a cycle. If the dryer runs and the error does not appear, then you need to give the vent a thorough cleaning.
