Old Jumper Burned Through
First you have to remove the front panel. Then the jumper can be attached without removing anything, but I found it easier to take out the heating element

Dryer runs but does not dry....Jumper wire burnt into from thermal safety switch to heater terminal.
Remove the front cover by removing the two bottom screws, and also discnonect door switch Disconnect jumper from the thermal safety switch using pliers(this is a slide lug connection). Next remove the nut from the Heater terminal. Remove old burnt jumper and replace, using instructions in reverse. Replace front cover making sure that you rewire the door switch.

no heat from dryer
Removed the from panel from the dryer unit. Although we replaced the 4 items listed above, the main cause of the problem was the heating element thermal insulator. Upon removing the front panel and inspection we noticed the heating element was cracked/broken, Actually there were two of them, so we reordered another and replaced them both. they look like a copper screw with a collar and a ceramic head. Once these were replaced the dryer worked fine.
