Product Description

If the lint filter in your dryer has become damaged, this is a genuine OEM replacement filter. It is important to always run the dryer with the filter in place, as it traps lint and other debris from entering the dryer vents. Without the filter, the vents can become clogged with lint which can prevent your laundry from drying properly along with being a fire hazard. Replacing this part is an easy repair. Simply remove the old filter, and insert the new one in its place. Always be sure to clean the filter between each load of laundry.

Duct outlet was apparently deformed when the dryer was installed. It had leaked lint for years.
One screw holds the duct. Some adjustment with pliers were needed to correct an out of round condition of the end that went on the squirrel cage outlet. Balance of time used to create a secure hose connection.
