Dark marks on clothing; clothing sticking between drum and front panel
Others with the same problem of dark marks on clothing suggested replacing the white and the grey drum slides that slip into the front drum bearing unit. When I open up the dryer, I did find that both the white and grey drum slides on one side of the front drum bearing piece had completely worn away, and some of the drum bearing piece was also worn away. I had decided in advance to order both white slides, both grey slides, a new felt seal, and the front drum bearing piece. Possibly I could have reused the old front drum bearing, but the replacement was cheap enough. Three bits of advice: 1) if you replace the felt seal, make sure you get it tucked behind the clips on the door panel; 2) if you replace the front drum bearing piece, once you have the dryer put back together, reach up and pull the plastic drum bearing toward you to be sure it is fully snapped into place; 3) after you replace the slides or felt, the drum will make mild rubbing noises as it turns, so run the dryer with no heat for about 30 minutes to seat the parts.

Load squeaking, rubbing noise in the front of dryer
I looked at the video on this site for replacing that part. If you watch the video you will have no proplem. It took me 20 mins to do the repair, may have been quicker if my hands would have been smaller to connect the wires back in the front panel.

The dryer was squeeling with a load of clothes in it.
I watched your video first. Pulled out two screws and removed the top, took one screw out on the left and right side so the front of the dryer could be removed. I then pulled the old Drum bearing out, installed the drum bearing slides in the new drum bearing then put it back together the way I took it apart. No problem!! Saved me a bunch of money and my dryer is repaired. Thanks!!

Dryer was very noisy.
If someone else replaces these parts be sure to also purchase the 4 nylon bearings! The front drum bearing does not come with them and this site does not mention or recommend buying them. So I had to find another source to purchase them. Also when I placed my order I was told I would receive the parts in 2 days it took 4 days for them to arrive.

Dryer squealing due to glides missing and part of front drum bearing worn away.
Lifted the top of dryer off, screws were already removed diagnosing the problem. Removed two screws holding front panel on. Snapped the worn front drum bearing out of its place. Transfered the glides, I ordered extra, from the old piece to the new one. Snapped the new drum bearing in place, slightly lifting the dryer drum to rest on the new front drum bearing. Then I attached the front dryer panel with the two screws. Finally put the top of the dryer back in its place with two screws to hold it in place. Finished with a test run of dryer. No squealing, so i put in a load of clothes to be dryed.

The front of the drum was making a loud squealling noise.
I used the videos provided to get an idea of what to expect. By simple inspection, I found the right screws to remove to gain access. There were two screws to remove the top cover, and two screws below the top cover that released the front panel. Removed 4 screws total to gain access, and that was it. It couldn't have been easier, and took less than 20 minutes to remove, and no more than 20 minutes to replace the parts. Very easy. Thanks for providing the videos, and supplying the parts in 3 days.

Noisy while operating
Open the dryer door. There are two Phillips screws under the top edge of the door opening that hold the top panel of the dryer. Remove the two screws. Lift the front edge of the dryer panel up, then pull back carefully so that the tabs on the control panel slide out from the top dryer panel. Set the dryer top panel off to the side. Close the dryer door. There are two square drive screws connecting the dryer side panels to the dryer front panel near the top, one on the left and one on the right. Remove these two screws. I was able to use my Phillips screwdriver to remove these square drive screws. Be careful if you do this so as not to strip the screw opening. Pull the top edge of the front panel backwards carefully. then lift the panel up. There are three wires connected at the lower, left-hand side so don't pull the front panel away, but set it up so you can access the inside section of the front panel. You may need an assistant to hold the front panel up. Remove the light bulb in the top center section of the existing front drum bearing. There are two plastic tabs of the front drum bearing that hold the bearing in. There are located at the top, and each tab locks behind a bit of metal on the front dryer panel . Press down on this plastic tab and pull back on each one. One they are free, pull the whole front drum bearing back from the top. Then, pull it up and out. The drum bearing tips on the bottom edges insert into two holes on each side. When you put the new front drum bearing back in, start with those bottom edges. Then, press the front drum bearing in so that the top plastic tabs lock into the same locations as the old one. There are two pairs of drum bearing slides. White and black ones. The white ones go on the outer spots and the black ones go on the inner spots. See the old front drum bearing for reference. To insert, there is a hole on one edge of the drum bearing slide. Insert the slide so that the hole goes into a tab in the front drum bearing. Then, bend it so that the other end goes into the slotted hole. The drum bearing slide is partially curved. Make sure the curve is bending in the same direction as the drum bearing. Do this for all four drum bearing slides. Insert the light bulb back in. Place the bottom edges of the front panel onto two tabs on the front bottom edge of the dryer. Once these are aligned and securely holding the bottom edge of the front panel, Press the front panel onto the dryer so that the two tabs on the top edge of the front panel go into two slots on the dryer. Then, rescrew the square drive screws where they were removed. Please be careful not to drop this screw. If you do, you will need to retrieve it from the bottom of the dryer's bottom panel which will require you to tilt the entire dryer until the screw can be grabbed (I know because I dropped a screw). Replace the top panel by first aligning the tabs in the control panel into the slots on the top panel. Once they are fully inserted, carefully lower the top panel down. Open the dryer door. Reinstall the Phillips screws through the underside of the dryer door opening.
