    This genuine OEM part is timer knob for your dryer. It is gray in color, made of plastic, and fits onto a D-shaped shaft and has the metal clip included. If your timer knob has broken, you will want to replace it so that you can easily adjust the settings for your dryer. When replacing this part, pull the damaged knob off the shaft, line up the new one and gently press into place. You should not need any tools for this, unless the metal clip is stuck to the shaft. If so, a pair of needle nose pliers is all you will need to remove it.

Needed a timer selector took the model number the color submited the info. and that was it.

My original timer knob broke
First don't waste money on buying the D-Shaped Knob Insert Clip. The new knob comes with one already, If I knew this I could have saved money. It takes less than one minute to put the new knob on. Just line up the flat sides and slide it on. The plus side is now it works better than when it was brand new! guess it came with a faulty timer knob from the factory. The original knob was kinda hard to turn now its easy and smooth.

The timer knob had broken and my landlady's brother-in-law had replaced it, but it didn't work right at all.
I removed the existing timer knob and compared it to the new one. On the underside of the existing one I could see that it had been glued together and the hole was the wrong shape. When I put the new knob in place, it fit perfectly. Then I tried it out--I did a wash and placed the wet garments in the dryer and it performed perfectly.

The knob on the dryer timer was cracked.
Obviously the repair was beyond easy; all we did was take the old knob off and replace it with the new one - it took about 30 seconds. The local appliance repair company wanted about $140.00 for this repair and all it cost us was $12.00 plus shipping. I would like to say though that dealing with this site was great. They were very helpful on the phone and the part arrived in the time frame as promised, was well packaged and arrived without damage. I will definitely use again.
