Sprayed the timer shaft with WD-40 and pushed on the knob

Large Dryer Knob Had Cracked So Stem Would Not Turn To Control Heat
Literally I just put the knob on the stem with flat part placed flat on the metal stem and it was a go! I had been using a pair of pliers to turn the metal stem. Took about 10 seconds and for $20 ($8 being shipping) I did not have to buy a new dryer!

Sleeve that fits over shaft of timer knob cracked.
I simply pushed the new part onto the shaft. Very little effort required.
