Product Description
A damaged pulley can make the drive belt jump, squeal, or lose power while drilling. The pulley guides the belt and helps move power through the drill press. First look for cracks, bent areas, worn grooves, or a loose center hole. Also check the belt for damage and make sure the shafts line up. Confirm fit with the full tool model because pulleys that look alike may have different sizes. Disconnect the power cord before opening the belt guard. Keep fingers away from spring-loaded parts and follow the service diagram. Install the belt in its original path and set the correct tension. Replace the guard before turning on the drill press.
