Why do these bushings break and should I be concerned that the new bushing will also break?

We recommend you check the door spring before purchasing the new bushing. If the door spring is in good condition, you do not need to be concerned about the bushing. We hope this information helps!

I replaced Hinge bushings because they had broke and fell off. I replaced friction sleeves but nothing was wrong with the old ones. I only needed to use one spring. It seems the door only needed the springs to be adjusted out. But the new springs are longer then original springs. Even though part numbers were correct the new springs are no longer being manufactured to original specifications. Door now work correctly. Thank you for the quick service.
