Replace Handle
Undo 10 star screws. Lift up Stainless door panel. Gently pull on handle assembly to unsnap and lift out. Remove old handle. Snap on new handle. Snap assembly back in. Replace stainless steel panel and screw back in.

washer still worked. wife struggled w/ opening after washing.
Hardest part was figuring the size of torx screwdriver.(20). I ordered parts & had them here the day I took the screws out and removed cover. Struggled a bit removing the 4 electrical connections, but quickly reconnected new parts and blam! DONE!! yeah! Wife happy! I saved over $100. on repairman! I'm happy.

Latch handle was broken and door was very difficult to get open
Removed the door liner, star head screwdriver needed,(careful the edges of liner are sharp). Replaced the handle being careful getting the ears in their holes. My husband put electrical silicone grease on the ears before installing and some Teflon lubricant where plastic rubs on plastic. The reason for this is that this is not the first t ime the handle had broken because the ears are stuck in the holes unable to move and breaking. Thanks to all those that give their installation instructions as it really does help. Also, thanks to this site for their speedy service. We ordered the latch one day and it arrived the next!
