Unit control board would not power up.
Found that the resistance on the dispenser door was very high. This also took out the triac fuse. Replaced both control board and dispenser door Removed faulty part and replaced

The power supply for the OLD board "fried" (KFC). More specifically, the connectors charred, melting the power supply clip. :) Hence, intermittent performance from the OLD board. :)
So, as a result, I went to the web-site and ordered a NEW board. :) The NEW board probably works but, the connection to the ribbon cable does NOT fit. Meaning, the connection from the control panel (on the front of the dishwasher, door) to the NEW controller board does connect. :))
