Failed fuse (Thermal Cutoff)
Failed fuse (Thermal Cutoff) PN PS774514 1st lasted two weeks. I think it failed because I did not explicitly follow the instructions and cut off the 2 harness wires as instructed, thinking that a simple replacement of the fuse using the old connectors was sufficient (and very easy to do!). The cut off wires went into the new terminal block requires a really small screwdriver flat head to get adequate torque to clamp the extremely short stripped harness wire tight clamped.

No power
Followed video fuse install instructions. Slightly different model for panel, but worked well. Diagnosis of possible problem was excellent, 55% likely it was the fuse since there was no power to the door op. panel yet there was power to the door from the plug. Did not use the 2 extraenous wires leading to the replacement fuse, simply a put the original slip-on connectorw on to the new fuse.

The primary fuse failed
This an easy fix. The website makes it easier. The dishwasher was not getting power (no lights just nothing) so the fuse was a likely culprit. A continuity test on the fuse verified this. The fix is easy. A video on the website shows the process. Remove the control panel, pop out the circuit board, remove the fuse and cut the wires. Reconnect the new fuse and reassemble. Don't for get to re connect the ribbon cable.

The dishwasher stopped near the end of the cycle, leaving water in the bottom.
First off, your web site gave me two choices on what the problem might be and the probability of the options. I choose the highest percent and it was correct. Installation was easy. My mistake but I did not follow the complete directions in that i did not replace the wires along with the fuse. I burned out the thermal fuse and on the next replacement i will follow all of the directions.

Would not start
Installed the fuse and door switch, tested it and everything worked. (Installation was easy with the step by step video.) Loaded the dishwasher the next day and nothing worked. Checked my installation and still nothing. Must have had another problem. Gave up and bought a new one.

Would not complete a cycle. Would some times start up on it's own! Could not program properly.
I know nothing about electrical repairs but I knew that if I could buy the part and save a quoted repair bill of about $300, I was certainly going to learn! I used the video on the website showing the installation, it was so easy! I bought both the circuit board and the fuse thinking that I would only need the circuit board since the lights were still coming on. However, after installing the board and running one wash cycle the machine wouldn't run at all and there were no lights on the panel. I pulled it apart again and replaced the fuse, success! Have now been using the machine for over a month and no problems to report. Thank you.

quick search on net, and found my fix.
Major town power outage blew out the fuse in our dishwasher, rather then just buy a new one I figured I'd do a quick search online. Found Fix.com's video on replacing the thermal fuse. Found the right one for the job, ordered and replaced it. Dishwasher still running better then new and wife is very much pleased with it over the old dishwasher who's beard kept getting soaked by the dish soap and grumpy.
