Product Description

The spray arm works by rotating to distribute water throughout the dishwasher, ensuring that both racks of dishes come out clean. If your dishes are not coming out of the dishwasher as clean as they should be, it may be time to replace the spray arm in your appliance. This kit comes with the upper spray arm, split ring seal, water supply tube, a holder for the tube, and a screw to attach the arm to the mounting bracket. The kit has been redesigned by the manufacturer and no longer includes the upper support or mount, and the supply tube now comes as one piece. If your repair also requires a new mounting bracket, this part can be ordered separately. As this is a genuine OEM parts kit, it is guaranteed to work with your model number. This repair is easy to complete and only requires the use of a Philips screwdriver. The spray arm measures approximately 18 inches long, and all components of the kit are white in color.

RUBBER HOSE WAS BROKEN
Removed screw that was holding the sprayer arm and hose. Put in the new sprayer arm and hose and put the screw back in to hold the new part in placed.

The spray arm had broken off of the mount. Also, the rince aid cap had long ago melted.
I simply followed the video instructions to replace the spray arm kit. I had to first replace the spray arm mount as mine had actually broken apart. It literally took less than 15 minutes including watching the video. I have to admit I felt very proud of myself for doing this repair myself. After opening my dishwasher door one evening to find spray arm broken off and laying in the lower rack, my first thought was "oh no, I broke my dishwasher and I can't afford a new one". Once I calmed down I decided to see if it was possible to order dishwasher parts. I used my best friend, google, and found this site. I was impressed with both the affordability and the timeliness. I had my part within 36 hours of placing the order. When I first opened the package and realized there were no instructions included I was a little nervous but then I remembered that I had seen there was an instruction video on the site. I would highly recommend watching the video and will tell you that it was as simple a fix for me as it was for the technician in the video. As for the rinse aid cap, I had to pry out the old one with a screwdriver as it had melted but that wasn't difficult either. The best part is that my dishes look better than they have in a very long time!

The spray arm assembly was worn out
Step 1. I removed the two clips/fasteners which allowed the top dishwasher rack to slide out.
Step two. I turned the rack upside down and placed it on the counter. Then I removed the middle spray assembly with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3. I replaced the spray arm assembly and also the upper spray mount.
Step 4. P laced the rack back into the dishwasher and put the clips back into place.
Step 5. Made sure everything was aligned.

The upper wash arm hose broke and would not wash the dishes on the top rack
a) Pull out the upper rack b) Remove the screw in the middle of rack.c) Note the orientation of the plastic piece that is held by the screw. (A photo from your smart phone might help) d) It is important that you put the new wash arm at an angle, i.e. the left side will be higher than the right side. e) put the wash arm on the slanted plas tic piece,f) put in one of the screws to hold the wash arm to the plastic piece. g) put the plastic piece with the wash arm in the same location as the old one.g) put in the upper screw h) put the plastic holding bracket near the back of the upper rack. h) ensure that wash arm rotates freely h) Push the upper rack back into the dishwasher making sure that cone joins with pipe sticking out of the back of the dish washer. i) You are complete.

The part that brings water to the spray arm basically disintegrated.
Pay attention on how this part is put in before removing it. The kit comes with no installation instructions. I unscrewed the only top screw above the spray arm. There are 2 pieces here that attach the spray arm to the dish basket. These 2 pieces do not come in the kit. I assembled the new spray arm and reattached it to the dish basket. I removed the old plastic hanger located at the back of the dish basket and replaced it with the new one. Then I easily popped the water reciever tube into the new hanger. I made sure the sprayer spun and I was done.

Spray arm was not working due to age..
Very worn cracked pipe that carried the water from source to arm. Resulting in dishes on top rack were not rinsing properly. Followed the excellent video on installation, result all old parts removed and new replaced in about 15 min. Amazingly easy process, total cost approx $23.00+ for parts shipping. NO service call !!! You can reply v ideo as many times as necessary, but process is very simple.
