Dishwasher not draining. NO LEAK but not draining.
My dishwasher would not drain out. I had no leak underneath. But not draining. I was not sure which part to order, but ordered the Drain and Wash Impeller kit because it was the cause of the problem in more than 60% of cases. I ordered the part. Watched the video, tore my dishwasher down almost the whole way. Waited for the part to come.

Once it got here, I finished taking the last of the parts off. I did not have the two small white balls shown in the video, in fact I did not have any balls. I had to use the chisel to bust off the impeller. It was cracked when I got it down that far, but it still would not come off. That was probably the most difficult part, getting that busted off. I am not by any means a repairwoman. But with these videos from parts select, I have repaired this dishwasher twice at low cost. I literally just followed the video step by step. Dishwasher repaired. Draining again and all is well. I found it to be a pretty easy repair.

until I discover wed the problem. utensil lodged under lower washer arm and caused the motor to overheat and melt all plastic parts attached to it up to the main washer spinner.disassembled the lower washer unit all the way down to the pump where it enters the tub. removed all debris. m run channels and the replaced with the new disposal/impeller kit. was very surprised by the size of the replacement parts because what was left that I found was less than 1\3 of the new kit. spun the motor stub gently to free it up( luckily it was thermally protected so the motor is fine.) assembled all and ran thru several cycles and I have not heard or seen this unit work this well in ages . I must note I bought this unit in 1998. Not a job for anybody tho .you need to know about plumbing ,electricity ,and mechanics.

Noisy Dishwasher
My 20 year old + dishwasher started making a terrible noise during the entire wash cycle. I replaced all the components from the motor up inside the machine. I found the parts I needed and watched the instilation video. The call to this site was quick and easy and the parts arrived on time. I brought my laptop into the kitchen and watc

hed the video again while I installed the replacement parts. EASY! Unfortunately, I only minimized the noise problem and I sounds a little better but the motor needs to be replaced. Looks like I will be shopping for a new dishwasher soon. Thanks .

frig was'nt running all the time, ice cubes melting
frig wouldn't run all the time and the cubes were melting. I at first, would push the fan switch inside the freezer section, several times fast and it would kick in. I checked the symptoms here at Parts Select and ordered both the switch, and the thermostat thinking if the switch fixes it, i would send the thermostat back. put the switch

Dishwasher would not drain
I looked on-line to find video help. There is plenty out there. The mechanical work was not difficult. The difficulty I experienced was getting the primary bolt to come off of the motor shaft. I was warned in one of the video that this part gets wet and will have some rust. They were right. I had to cut the wash impeller off of t

Washer does not empty
The teardown went exactly as the video. I found that it needed the "Complete Pump Seal Kit" (p/n PS382775) in order to make it like new. I highly recommend ordering them together.

Water was not running through machine
I followed the youtube video on the site and made adjustments to my particular model with little difficulty. I did have to chisel out the impeller parts due to the age of the machine. Once reassembled dishwasher worked without issue.

Exactly what I needed
The accompanying video was invaluable, but did skip a step - the removal of the bearing seal at the bottom of the assembly. - Otherwise this got the job done.
