Dishwasher control panel would not light up when door and latch closed
I did some research on Google and discovered the leading cause of this problem was the door interlock switch going bad. When it's bad the dishwasher doesn't know the door is closed so it will not allow the control panel to work or the dishwasher to run. I decided it was worth a shot spending $31 for the part and trying that before resorti

ng to buying a new dishwasher. I'm so happy it worked! Procedure: Turn off the power to dishwasher. Then, there are 7 screws on the inside panel of the door that must be removed. Lift the inside panel out. The switch is located right behind the latch. Remove the 2 screws from the switch that attach it to the door and unplug the 4 wires from it. Then remove the old switch and put the new one in. It might be necessary to take the plastic housing cover off the switch in order to remove the wires off the old and reconnect the wires to the new. They were hard to unplug so I used needle nosed pliers. The trickiest part of this is getting the door panel back on and the latch back in place. The latch isn't attached to anything, it just fits into a spot between the 2 door panels, so it wants to move around. The inside arm of the latch must be positioned on the hook of the interlock switches white plastic arm so it can operate it. Then the other side of the latch with user operated arm must be inserted facing out. It's hard to explain but you'll have to play around with it until you get it in place and the door panel lined up correctly so you can put the 7 screws back in. Test it out. It is helpful to take some pictures of everything first so you can see how it fits together before you start removing things in case you have trouble later. This was a pretty easy fix though.

D/washer door switch
Your U tube video described the exact problem our dishwasher had. No electricity because the door switch wasn't confirming that the door was shut tight. Once the new switch arrived, I viewed your video again and found the repair simple to do (although removing the 3 wires from the old switch was a bit concerning since they weren't easy to remove).
