How do I install the heating element
For model number GDF5706GF8CC
Hi Richard, thank you for your question! To install the heating element, you may follow the instructions given:
1. Remove the screws that hold the dishwasher to the countertop.
2. Put a towel in the plastic container just in case the water will leak down.
3. Use wrench, and take over the waterline.
4. Use a nut driver, lose the hose clamp.
5. Pull out the dishwasher from the cabinet.
6. Place the dishwasher on the side and remove the wires from the heating element terminals.
7. Use a large plier and unscrew the plastic nuts.
8. Place the dishwasher back on its feet.
9. Open the door and remove the bottom rack.
10. Take out the lower spray arm.
11. Un-thread the screws that hold the mounting brackets and remove the brackets that hold the element.
12. Pull out the heating element and install the new heating element.
You may follow the instructions backward to reassemble the dishwasher. We hope this information is useful!
