Spring broke
Turned off prower, remove d kick plate, unsrewed two top srewes, pulled unit out, removed old springs and linkage, installed new parts. Did not have to turn off water,or disconect hoses. Hardest part was liniing up kick plate holes. Not bad for a 68 year old,with wife's help she is 70. Saved about $100.00.

The Nylon Spring Linkage Broke (after of over 10 years use)
Simple, just remove the bottom panel and hook the new nylon linkage piece to the door arm and reconnect the spring using a long nose pliers (you can also use your hand but it's a bit tight fitting your hand under the dishwasher).
