Both upper and lower spray arms were clogged from 12 years of hard water calcification. Items were not getting rinsed properly.
First of all, I'm a 70-year old housewife... If I can replace these parts with ease, most anyone can replace these parts with ease!
1. Micro filter. I used a stainless steel place knife to loosen the encrusted circle at the bottom so I could rotate the old micro filter to pull it out (rotate in the opposite direction of the arrows). Rubber hot pads were helpful to my arthritic hands to create a good strong grip.
2. Lower spray arm just snapped into place.
3. Upper spray arm need a little coaxing from a wide screwdriver to lift the catch at the rear to remove the old part. New spray arm just snapped into place.
It was helpful to look at the pictures in the owners manual while replacing the parts.
