The cap cover attaches to the brush cap. This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with Hitachi hammers and impact wrenches. It is available as an individual replacement and is made of metal. If this part becomes broken it will need to be replaced and may require a screwdriver during the installation.
