Does this switch control the triple surface element? There are two single elements, a double, and the triple on this model. The triple element is the one for which I need the switch.

Bad burner switch, not working
Turn breaker off at panel. Unplugged unit under cabinet.Removed 2 clips, holding cook top in place. ( easy to reach under cabinet) lift cook top out of counter top, remove several Philips screws, & separate glass top from bass. The new switch was different from old. Compared connection on the drawing included with new switch. Changed wire s one at a time,(to insure not to mix them up). After all wires were off the old switch I removed it & installed the new one in position. using care, turned power on to test new switch. All was good. Reinstalled glass top,replaced unit in counter top. replaced hold down clips. Old switch had 2 positions for neutral wire, New switch only had one. I had to make a splice in neutral. I am an electrician so that was easy, maybe not so for a do-it-ur-self er.
