the glass cooktop was cracked.
I looked up the website, got the model #, went onto the website and talked to the nicest, most helpful man I believe he goes by the name J.P.{sp?] he was so helpful and the next day I received the new cartrage and plugged it in! the only thing is it has a different rim around the perimeter--black instead of chrome{they no longer make it that way] but this cooktop is 35 years old! I am so grateful because I was thinking I may have to replace the whole thing, plus the counter top.
