This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement circuit breaker used on Ridgid air compressors. It is designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overcurrent/overload or short circuit. If the fuse blows, the unit won't be able to run. To reset it simply push the button. It is made out of plastic with metal components and it is sold individually. To replace it you would need a wrench.
