This is an authentic OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from Jenny. The pilot valve helps the compressor determine when to kick-in and when to shutoff. This particular valve cuts in and begins compressing air at 95 psi, and cuts out at 125 psi, although it can be adjusted for higher and lower pressures. This valve also has a hand unloader. Debris in the valve, as well as damage from moisture, or loss of tension in the spring all might lead to issues with the valve. Before replacing this part ensure the compressor is disconnected from power source, and the tank is drained of air.
