This is a genuine replacement part which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Ridgid and Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. It helps to regulate the air pressure in the compressor tank by adjusting the knob. In some instances, you will need lower or higher air pressure in the tank and the air coming from the tank. Over time parts may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring replacements. This high-quality regulator is made of durable metal with a plastic knob. Check the owner's manual and the diagrams for your model to ensure the correct installation procedure. You will need a wrench set to remove the old regulator and attach the new one. Make sure to unplug the air compressor and to drain the air from the tank before starting this repair.
