What will cause the compressor not to start?
For model number HJ300100
Hi Wesley,
Thank you for your question. If your compressor will not start, check the electrical outlet it is plugged into to see if there is power to it. If there is power to the electrical outlet, shut the compressor off and remove all of the air from the tank. Set the pressure switch control lever to the auto position. If the pump starts after the lever has been set to the auto position, with the tank empty, then the check valve may be stuck open. The check valve prevents the air in the tank from flowing back into the pump. If the check valve is open, the pressure in the pump will increase and prevent the compressor from starting. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

Correct but Costly Compressor Repair
The part was OEM replacement. The two plastic pressure hoses did not survive the transplant and needed to be replaced. Other than that the parts replacement went smoothly. Big Thanks to FIX.
