This item is sourced from the original manufacturer. It is an authentic part used with Porter Cable circular saws. It is designed to control on/off function of a unit. Mechanical switches tend to break with time, eventually requiring replacement. Includes one (1) plastic body switch and four (4) screws. To replace this switch you will need a screwdriver. • First make sure equipment is unplugged • Remove screws from the handle/housing • Separate two (2) halves of the housing • Disconnect wires and the button from the switch • Remove old switch and secure new one in place • Reassemble and test the unit
