Over time chains tend to stretch, get dull or break requiring replacement. Keeping an eye on the condition of the chain and its performance will let you know when it is time to replace it. The to complete this repair you will need a flat head screwdriver or a socket wrench. • Remove the side panel • Release the chain tension • Remove the old chain • Thread the new chain onto the saw • Reattach the side panel • Tension the chain in accordance with the owners manual
