Product Description

This is a genuine OEM approved piston kit which is designed for Poulan chainsaws. The piston is a central component of an engine. It both provides compression within the engine, as well as transfers the energy from combustion to the crankshaft (which creates rotation). This assembly includes the metal piston, ring, two retainers and the pin. Replacing the piston assembly is not the simplest repair, but it is definitely something you can do yourself. You will need a screwdriver to remove the cover and a set of sockets and wrenches for the rest of the repair.
