Product Description

This part is an OEM from Craftsman for use with Chainsaws. The inner plate is placed in the clutch cover to direct the motion of the sprocket. The most common reason for replacing the inner plate is if the plastic housing is wearing (or melting) beneath the guide bar, the bar plate is worn or damaged from the chain, the bar oil is not circulating, or the oil is not reaching the chain. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the inner plate is a chain adjustment tool (Scrench); or, ratchet/socket/wrench set, flat-blade screwdriver, long-handled screwdriver, and a small hammer.
