This Assembly is sourced directly from Hunter and is compatible with various Hunter Ceiling Fans. To ensure this kit fits your fan, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This kit includes the assembly as well as the screws needed to replace your current light assembly. The Light Kit Assembly is responsible for the ceiling fan producing light. If the lights or the light switch/chain of your ceiling fan no longer work, it may be time to replace the Light Kit Assembly. The assembly is approximately 6"L and has two protruding wires that connect to your ceiling fan. Light Kit Assemblies are sold individually.

Does the replacement kit support 2 light bulbs - ie: is it socketed for 2 rather than just 1? I can't tell from the picture nor the description.

Is the model number on the fan somewhere?

Thank you for your question. Depending on the type of fan you have, the model number, will be found in different locations. For downrod-mount fans, the ID label will be found on the top of the motor housing facing the ceiling. For low profile or hugger fans, the ID label will be found on the mounting bracket. This Hunter Ceiling fan light assembly kit looks to be the one i need. The problem i have is that it does not show the socket size. I want the small socket size for the candelabra lamps.

My hunter celing fan use remote control but the fun works great but the lights dont work i need the replacement i need hepl the exact part thank you for your help

Thank you for your question. Before we can provide you with information on the part you need, we will need the model number from your ceiling fan. If your Hunter fan is a downrod-mount fan, the model number will be found on an ID sticker on the top of the motor housing facing the ceiling. If you have a low-profile Hunter fan, the ID sticker with the model number will be found on the mounting bracket. The model number will be a 5-digit number sometimes with a letter after it. The first step was to remove the old lighting kit from the fan's wire housing unit (first housing uncovered after removing fan's globe and lightbulbs). I tested to make sure I still had power in the unit which I did. After replacing the light kit, I found that the fan still worked...but the new light kit didn't. After researching Youtube
... Read morevideos, there is a common problem with Hunter fans where the fan will work but not the lights. I discovered that there is a small white resistor that burns out...thus cutting power off to the light kit. I removed the resistor, reconnected the new lighting kit to the appropriate wires, and put the housing unit back together.
After finding out what the REAL issue was...the process of repair was not that difficult.
Pull chain on/off for light stopped working, stuck in OFF position.
Swapped the old assembly for the new one - easy peasy. The entire light assembly was easily removed by disconnecting the multi-pin connector in the fan housing. Wiring the assembly was two simple wires, with snap-on connectors. The old light had 3 bulbs and the new one has 2, which I like better anyway.
The light kit fit correctly however the issue is a small part inside the lamp wiring which I found on you tube , very small white rectangular piece with 2 wires. Unplug both ends then connect the wires together.
I could not find the control module for it.I had to change the light assly to a pull chain type and hard wire it to a 120v source in the fan then had to replace the glass globe to one with a hole in it for the chain-I "retro fitted" the fixture myself
