Product Description

This is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from Hunter. This capacitor is commonly used in ceiling fans. Certain ceiling fans only use a single phase induction motor, meaning they are not self-starting and when the fan is switched on it cannot rotate the blades from a standstill. The capacitor creates another phase and helps provide the torque required to get the blades rotating.
