It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Shindaiwa brushcutters. This is the special cushion for the muffler. It helps to reduce vibrations from a running engine. Unfortunately, over time the material will wear out and it may begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement.
