This is a black OEM jar lid for a blender. The lid is what seals the jar, and the blender should never be operated without it. Please note that this part includes the jar lid only, the filler cap that gets inserted into the lid is sold separately. When placing the lid onto the jar, the flap goes on the opposite side of the pour spout. To clean the lid, separate it from the filler cap and wash with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not store the jar with the lid sealed on top, as this will impede proper air circulation and could cause odors in the container. This lid is not dishwasher friendly and should always be washed by hand.
