Well, the jar is just the jar, so nothing to do there, and it looks fantastic. Replacing the coupling, which I strongly recommend if you replace the jar, was a bit of a challenge. I own a KitchenAid blender which was no longer spinning the impeller blade
I removed the coupling first and replaced with a new coupling. I then bought a new jar and impeller assembly. This brought the blender back to like new condition. The hardest part of the job was removing the coupling. A readers tip, which told me to use a vise, worked quite well. I completed the repairs in under 15 minutes.

Big fix for a small problem. If the gear that inserts into the motor base was replaceable you would not need to replace the whole jar. Buying the entire assembly made sense because it gave new life to a costly blender that was non-functional without the gear piece that had fatigued.
