This is an authentic Cuisinart replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with blenders. The plastic cover fits over the top of the jar and is used to prevent spills and leaks while the blender is in use. Tools are not necessary to install this part. The cover is sold individually, please note the fill cup is sold separately.
